Privacy Policy for You and Me Watch Face

This Privacy Policy describes how the You and Me Watch Face ("App") handles your information. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to being transparent about how our watch face functions.

1. Data Collection and Usage

The You and Me Watch Face is designed as a passive display for data already stored on your Wear OS device.

• No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to external servers.

• Sensor Data: The App requests permission to access body sensors (such as Heart Rate and SpO2) and activity data (Steps) solely to display this information on the watch face in real-time. This data is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded or shared.

• Weather Data: To display current temperature and conditions, the App may use your device's coarse location to fetch weather updates from a third-party provider. This location data is used only for the fetch request and is not stored or shared for any other purpose.

• Health Data (Samsung Health): If you choose to display your Sleep Score, the App accesses this value via the Samsung Health platform on your device. This data remains on your watch and is used only for display.

2. Third-Party Services

The App does not include any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking software. We do not sell or trade your data to any third parties.

3. Permissions

To function correctly, the App may request the following permissions:

• Body Sensors: To display heart rate and health metrics.

• Physical Activity: To display your daily step count.

• Location: To provide accurate local weather information.

• Complications: To display data from other apps (like Sleep Score or Calendar) chosen by the user.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. It is a purely visual utility for Wear OS.

5. Data Retention and Storage

We do not store or retain any of your personal or health data on any external servers. All data accessed by the You and Me Watch Face (such as heart rate, steps, and sleep score) is processed locally on your Wear OS device in real-time.

• Duration: Because no data is uploaded, we do not maintain a database of your history. Data is only "retained" in the active memory of the device while the watch face is in use to provide an up-to-date display.

6. Data Deletion and User Control

Users have full control over the data displayed by the App.

• Revoking Permissions: You can stop the collection of sensor or location data at any time through your watch's system settings (Settings > Apps > Permissions).

• Permanent Deletion: Since no data is stored on our servers, uninstalling the watch face from your device effectively "deletes" any local cache or temporary data used by the App. To perform a complete deletion, simply long-press the watch face on your device and select "Uninstall," or remove the app via the Google Play Store.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
